Covid behind us, Mid-Terms over, now in the second semester of 2022-23 academic year, Xaverian school spirit has never been higher. Recently the Class of 2023 celebrated a what may be a new tradition “71 at 7100” referring to their final 71 days as seniors, joining together in the gym for an afternoon of games and pizza.

The History Club has discovered the Xaverian Archives, recently requesting yours truly to relate some anecdotal tales from the early days of the school which were delivered on a walk about of the building. Two members, Jemma Parsons ‘23 and Bartosz Foremny ‘24, volunteered to help with the herculean task of digitizing some of the publications to share with the community. Much appreciation!

Among the many New Acquisitions are a packet of documents from Anthony F. Piazza ’61, which include his diplomas, and prom pictures, a Shore Road Local from September 1961 (accessible in the sidebar) which highlights a dozen classmates who joined the Xaverian Brothers.

Please remember the XHS Archives when engaged in “spring cleaning.”
